CPT Marcus T. Craig commissioned in December 2007 as a second Lieutenant in the Infantry. His first assignment was to 1 st Brigade, 25 th Infantry Division serving in 3 rd Battalion, 21 st Infantry Regiment and 1 st Battalion, 5 th Infantry Regiment. CPT Craig served as Platoon Leader while deployed to Diyala, Iraq (OIF 08-09), Company Executive Officer in Kandahar, Afghanistan (OEF 11-12), Administrative and Logistics Operation Cell Officer in Charge, and Assistant Operations Officer. CPT Craig was shortly assigned to 2 nd Battalion, 2 nd Infantry Regiment, Fort Knox before the unit was deactivated in 2014. CPT Craig’s most recent assignment was as Company Commander of Bravo Company, 4 th Battalion, 6 th Infantry Regiment, Fort Bliss, TX to include a deployment to Liberia, Africa.

CPT Craig’s military education includes the Basic Officer Leader Course, Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, Ranger School, Basic Airborne School, Unit Movement Officer Course, and Maneuver Captains Career Course. He holds a Bachelor of Art Degree in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from the University of South Florida.

CPT Craig’s awards and decorations include the, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal (2 Oak Leaf Clusters), National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal (2 stars), Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terror Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon (2 nd Award), NATO Medal, Parachutist Badge, Ranger Tab, Expert Infantry Badge, and Combat Infantryman Badge.
