Students who attend a member listed school in the Charlotte Area Education Consortium (CAEC) may enroll into military science classes at UNC Charlotte.
Consortium students are essenstially those students who wish to enroll into the ROTC program from affiliate/consortium schools. Please refer to the list of Partnership/Affiliate Schools.
The Charlotte Area Educational Consortium (CAEC) is a group of 24 regional schools that allow a full-time student on a member campus to enroll on a space available basis for no additional tuition at another member institution campus. You would have to be enrolled full-time at your home member college/university to participate. Consortium students can only take classes at another member school on a space available basis after their host students have registered. I.e. UNC Charlotte students get preference over all outside consortum students for the classes. UNC Charlotte's Registrar will input consortium students typically one week before classes start. An email will be sent to all consortium students to confirm enrollment. It is wise for consortium students to call the UNC Charlotte registrar's office to confirm their forms were sent via their home school registrar's office.
Note: BOTH FORMS MUST BE COMPLETED ENTIRELY!!!
