MAJ Caitlin A. Moore was born in Huntsville, AL on 5 October 1987. She attended Stephen F. Austin State University from 2006-2010, earning her Bachelor of Science in Forestry and a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Ordnance Corps.

Upon graduation from Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC) at Fort Lee, Virginia in December 2010, CPT Moore served in the 4th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade, 1st Infantry Division (4th MEB, 1ID) for over three years in various positions such as Maintenance Platoon Leader, Battalion Maintenance Control Officer, Company Executive Officer, and Battalion S4. During this time, she also completed one CTC rotation at the National Training Center and one at the National Maintenance Training Center.

MAJ Moore graduated from Logistics Captains Career Course in March 2015 with a follow on assignment at U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan, South Korea (USAG-Y) in the Eighth Army G4 (8A G4), where she as the Materiel Readiness Branch Maintenance Officer, participated in three Army level exercises and worked with other directorates and units across the peninsula to maintain sustainment readiness.

Following her tour in South Korea, she reported to 325th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division (325 BSB, 3IBCT, 25ID), where she served as the S3/Plans Officer for 8 months. CPT Moore commanded the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 524th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 25th Sustainment Brigade (HHC, 524th CSSB, 25th SB) from November 2016 to March 2018. During her command she emphasized competence, commitment, and community, while divesting excess equipment and preparing her company for deployment to Kuwait. Following command, CPT Moore moved up to the 25ID Division G4 to work as the Supply and Services Deputy where she led the division-wide effort for the Army’s Equipment Redistribution and Divestment Release Strategy (ERDRS).

MAJ Moore attended and graduated from Ordnance Officer Basic Course (2010), Unit Movement Officer (2011), Air Load Planner(2012), Combined Logistics Captain’s Career Course (2015), Common Faculty Development Instructor Course (2019).

Her awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal (2OLC), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korean Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Ribbon, Republic of Korea Army Certificate of Appreciation, and Ordnance Regimental Crest.
